As a concert pianist and piano pedagogue, as well as an assistant professor at the Academy of Music and Theater in Munich, I have been teaching music to talented children and adults for years. Over and over again I am motivated to share my professional experience and knowledge with my students and help young creators in the best possible way.

The music education stimulate the development of useful skills in both children and adults and give them better opportunities for a successful life. Self-discipline, patience, concentration, sensitivity and intelligence are few of the advantages that accompany them in their life.

In my classes I put emphasis on the development of technical abilities and teach basics of music theory that are related to practice, as well as analysis of the content of classical musical compositions and their interpretation. My piano lessons take into consideration the students' requirements and preferences, which are individually stimulated through my pedagogic concept.

The initial stage classes include:

• Instructions for individual practice and building good technical skills
• Learning the notes trough regular exircises
• Practical application of basic theoretical knowledge
• Introduction into the art of interpretation and proper pedal use

Basically, all my students learn to play compositions they like - from baroc and classical works to contemporary entertaining literature. Children being trained in a playful and age-oriented manner, so that they enjoy the training process.

The lessons for advanced students are structured to meet the students' needs. The musical an theoretical analysis of rhythm, form building, harmony and melody should be extended depending on the lesson objective, so that a better comprehension of the composition idea and expressive interpretation is achieved. In most advanced students the technical skills for using the pedal are insufficient due to the lack of consistent work and attention on this. In my lessons, I encourage and pay special attention to training the pedal from the earliest possible age. Three quarters of the art of playing the piano is due to good pedal technique, which is the soul of the piano.

In my classes I do not adhere to a strictly defined method of teaching. Each student is different and follows his own individual way. For me it is important to professionally assist all students, so that they always experience great pleasure playing the piano.
